Telecom Egypt Company (Telecom Egypt) is a leading provider of fixed line, retail, and wholesale telecommunications services in Egypt. The retail segment of the Company provides access to local, national as well as International voice, Internet, data transfer, and other telecommunications services. The wholesale segment provides broadband capacity leasing, Internet service, and national as well as International interconnection services. The Company has four subsidiaries as TE Data that provides Internet services, Centra Technologies engaged in the manufacturing and distribution of personal computers, Middle East Radio Communications that provides wireless services and TE Information Technology providing IT Consulting & Call Center Operations.
Industry spending on any particular IT product or service is an important indicator of the criticality of that product or service for the industry. Based on the IT spend information available in ‘TechNavioTM’, we have computed a ‘criticality score’ for various IT products and services, for Telecom Egypt.
Further, various company level developments and events are important indicators of selling opportunities and drive the sales of IT products and services. For example – an acquisition by Telecom Egypt might result in opportunities for IT migration and integration services. By tracking these sales drivers (using ‘TechNavioTM’), we have arrived at a demand score for each product and service.
