Global varactor diode industry outlook

The combination of varactor diodes and VCOs in radar systems help in providing signal tracking filters. A positive output is produced whenever the frequency from the source is low. This increases the reverse bias on varactor diodes which results in increased frequency output and decreased capacitance at the local oscillator. When the frequency from the source is high, the reverse method is followed.
